BOOKS: There are many types of books available on almost any subject. Books are available on a check-out basis only.

LESSON PLANS: The lesson plans include teacher information, classroom activities, and student work suggestions. They are produced by NASA, teachers, and commercial companies for classroom use by teachers.

Public domain lesson plans can be copied in the center for the student copy price of $.06 per page. Copyrighted lessons are available on a check-out basis.

MAPS: NASA maps are available as visual aids for lessons. Maps are available on a check-out basis only.

SLIDES WITH AUDIO CASSETTES: Slides with accompanying audio cassettes are available for review and duplication. Please submit a blank audio cassette and 100 speed 35mm slide film for duplication.

Note: Some of the slide series require more than one roll of chrome/slide film. We are currently developing digital versions of all slide sets. Digitized slide sets include all images in JPEG format with PowerPoint presentations having the sound embedded from the cassettes.
These slide sets will be copied to CD/ROM's and available for the price of $5.

SOFTWARE: The software programs include both public domain software, which is not copyrighted, thus you are free to copy and distribute it as much as you like, and commercial software, which is copyrighted. All software has been given a user grade level from teacher evaluations. Public domain software will be provided free of charge, and commercial software is available on a check-out basis for educators visiting the resource center.

CD/ROM copies of public domain software is available for the price of $5.

NASA image of Saturn with link to Video database

VIDEOS: Videos are NASA video tapes in BETA format (which may be converted to VHS format and copied) , and commercial video tapes. It is recommended that teachers review the videos before using them instructionally. To receive a copy of a NASA video, send a blank video tape for duplication to the program office.

Commercial videos are available on a check-out basis only.
